A striking addition to any diecast collection, the Fred Thompson Smith Miller Mohawk Gasoline Tanker Truck w/ Pup Trailer brings vintage fuel delivery history to life with authentic tanker graphics, classic heavy-duty styling, detailed cab features, and smooth-rolling wheels. The matching pup trailer adds extra display appeal, making this collectible perfect for transportation enthusiasts, petroleum memorabilia collectors, and fans of rare Smith Miller models.
Real Life Machine
Mohawk gasoline tanker trucks were widely used throughout the mid-1900s to transport fuel safely to service stations and commercial facilities across the United States. Trucks like these often featured powerful diesel engines from manufacturers such as Cummins and Mack, producing between 200 and 350 horsepower for hauling heavy liquid loads. Pup trailers increased fuel capacity without requiring larger single tankers. Drivers appreciated their flexibility on regional routes, while fuel companies valued their efficiency and recognizable branding during the golden age of American roadside travel.
