The Farmall Super M-TA was produced in 1954 and is famous for introducing the Torque Amplifier to the Farmall M family. This feature let operators select an additional working speed without fully stopping the tractor, a major benefit when pulling implements through changing soil conditions. The Super M-TA also represented the transition toward more flexible live-power arrangements for PTO and hydraulic work. Its short production run and mechanical significance have made it a highly regarded collectible among International Harvester enthusiasts.
