Large-scale display model for John Deere collectors
John Deere introduced the Model B in 1935 as a smaller tractor for general farming. The Model BW was the unstyled wide-purpose version designed for row-crop work, with adjustable wheel spacing for cultivating crops. In 1939, John Deere was transitioning toward updated tractor designs as mechanized farming continued to advance.
