International Harvester produced the TD-24 diesel crawler from 1947 through 1959. Built for demanding agricultural, construction, and land-clearing work, it was one of the largest crawler tractors of its era. The TD-24 used a substantial six-cylinder diesel engine and featured a heavy tracked undercarriage designed to deliver traction on challenging terrain. These machines were suited to jobs such as moving earth, clearing land, and supporting large construction projects. Crawler tractors were also useful in military engineering and infrastructure operations, where tracked equipment could work across rough ground. The TD-24 became a notable example of International Harvester's heavy equipment engineering during the postwar era.
