The John Deere Model A was introduced in 1934 and became one of the company's best-known row-crop tractors. Designed for cultivating and other farm operations, it featured a two-cylinder engine and a tricycle-style front axle that helped farmers maneuver between crop rows. The Model A was produced in several versions over its production life and became a familiar sight on American farms. Its recognizable green and yellow styling and enduring reputation have made it a favorite among vintage tractor enthusiasts. Ertl began producing farm toys in 1945, and its relationship with John Deere became an important part of the company's history. The 75th Anniversary release commemorates Ertl's journey from its founding in 1945 to 2020, combining a classic tractor design with a special collectible finish. <Cite refs={["turn199516search12","turn199516search1"]}/>
