Expand your collection with the 1/32 John Deere 8650 4WD with Front & Rear Duals, 2016 National Farm Toy Show, a distinctive 1/32 scale replica of the John Deere 8650 articulated four-wheel-drive tractor. This ERTL collectible highlights front and rear dual wheels and articulated four-wheel-drive frame, giving the machine an unmistakable presence among detailed farm and equipment models. Its 2016 National Farm Toy Show Edition designation sets this release apart from standard versions. The carefully represented bodywork, tires or tracks, and working-machine proportions make this an engaging display piece for enthusiasts of John Deere equipment. Pair it with suitable scale implements or companion machinery, or make it a focal point of your collection of historic and modern workhorses.
John Deere manufactured the 8650 four-wheel-drive tractor in the late 1980s as part of its 50 Series articulated lineup. Equipped with a six-cylinder diesel engine and substantial drawbar power, the 8650 was intended for large-scale tillage, pulling wide cultivators, disks and other high-draft implements. Its articulated center joint let the front and rear sections pivot for steering, an important feature on a machine of this size. Dual tires on both axles increased traction and helped distribute weight. These tractors represent the era when North American farms increasingly adopted large four-wheel-drive machines to cover more acres in shorter planting and tillage windows.
