The New Holland 9882 belonged to the large articulated four-wheel-drive tractor family developed from Versatile engineering. Designed for broad-acre agriculture, these tractors provided substantial diesel power and drawbar traction for deep tillage and wide seeding equipment. Triple tire configurations increased the tire contact area and helped spread weight across soft soil while maintaining traction. Their enormous working width and articulated steering made them recognizable sights on large grain farms.
