The CLAAS Xerion 5000 was introduced around 2009 as part of the company's innovative high-horsepower tractor lineup. Powered by a Caterpillar C13 six-cylinder diesel engine producing approximately 487 rated horsepower, the Xerion 5000 was designed for demanding agricultural applications requiring exceptional traction, maneuverability, and versatility.
Unlike conventional articulated four-wheel-drive tractors, the Xerion features a rigid chassis with four-wheel steering, allowing operators to select different steering modes for improved maneuverability and field performance.
