Bring a distinctive show-edition Oliver to the display shelf with this 1/16 Oliver 880 LP Gas tractor paired with a cart sprayer. The combination of an LP-gas fuel configuration, wide-front stance, and separate spraying implement makes this 2010 Mark Twain Toy Show release more than a conventional tractor replica. Its Oliver styling and period farm-spraying equipment create a complete vintage fieldwork scene, particularly attractive to collectors of specialty show models, alternative-fuel tractors, and classic crop-care machinery.
Introduced in the late 1950s, the Oliver 880 belonged to the Fleetline successor generation and offered farmers a versatile row-crop tractor for planting, cultivation, tillage, and transport. Oliver offered different fuel configurations, including liquefied petroleum gas, at a time when farmers compared fuel availability, cost, and engine performance. The wide-front arrangement provided a practical alternative to narrow-front row-crop tractors. Pull-type sprayers were used to apply crop treatments across fields, illustrating how a tractor such as the 880 could support seasonal crop-care work as well as conventional drawbar tasks.
