The Oliver 1950-T arrived in the late 1960s with a turbocharged six-cylinder diesel engine, replacing the earlier 1950's distinctive Detroit Diesel two-stroke powerplant. Its updated engine helped deliver strong pulling performance. Front-wheel assist and dual tires were useful options for improving traction during demanding tillage operations.
