Discover the character of the John Deere BWH-40 unstyled row-crop tractor with this 1/16 John Deere Model BWH-40 Unstyled Tractor. This 1/16 scale diecast collectible brings the machine's recognizable silhouette and working configuration to your display. The unstyled early hood, distinctive high-clearance row-crop configuration distinguish this release from more ordinary examples. Collectors of John Deere equipment will appreciate its connection to real agricultural and industrial history, while the Standard Release designation helps identify the specific version. Pair it with complementary period equipment or feature it on its own as a memorable addition to your collection.
John Deere's Model B entered production in 1935 as a smaller companion to the Model A. Early unstyled versions featured exposed mechanical lines and a simpler hood arrangement than the later streamlined tractors. The B used John Deere's distinctive horizontal two-cylinder engine and became popular for cultivating, planting, mowing, and light tillage on diversified farms. Specialized B configurations, including high-clearance and wide-tread arrangements, served growers with different crop and row-spacing needs. The BWH-40 designation identifies a particular collector-interest configuration rather than a modern tractor family. These early machines are valued today for their two-cylinder sound, simple mechanics, and role in bringing practical tractor power to smaller farms.
