Collectors will appreciate its distinctive gold chaser collectible finish, along with 200th birthday commemorative release and classic 1960s deere silhouette. Whether displayed individually or alongside related equipment, it offers an engaging way to celebrate the real machine and the era it represents.
John Deere built the 4020 from 1963 through 1972, and it became one of the company’s most celebrated tractors. Offered with gasoline, diesel, and other fuel configurations, the 4020 combined versatile power with improved hydraulics and transmission options. Farmers used it for planting, cultivating, haymaking, hauling, and heavy fieldwork. Enclosed cabs became increasingly desirable for operator comfort and weather protection. The 4020’s reliability and broad usefulness explain its enduring popularity with restorers and collectors.
