The John Deere MC Crawler was produced from 1949 through 1952 at the company's Dubuque, Iowa, facility. Designed for agricultural and light industrial work, the MC used a tracked undercarriage instead of conventional wheels to provide traction on soft or uneven ground. Its two-cylinder gasoline engine produced approximately 20 horsepower, making it suitable for jobs such as grading, clearing, pulling equipment, and general farm maintenance. A front-mounted blade expanded its usefulness for moving soil and leveling ground. The MC became an important early model in John Deere's crawler lineup and remains popular with vintage machinery enthusiasts because of its compact design and historical significance.
