Bring a distinctive piece of agricultural and equipment history to your collection with the 1/16 International 666 Hydro Tractor, Prestige Collection. This collector-focused 1/16 scale model by Ertl highlights international 666 hydro tractor and hydrostatic transmission configuration. Collectors will appreciate its ertl prestige collection release, along with classic ih red styling and mid-size agricultural tractor proportions. The subject and edition make this release a memorable choice for a carefully curated display of farm and industrial miniatures. Whether displayed individually or alongside related equipment, it offers an engaging way to celebrate the real machine and the era it represents.
International Harvester marketed the 666 during the 1970s as a versatile tractor for row-crop and utility applications. Hydro versions used a hydrostatic transmission, allowing smooth changes in travel speed without the conventional shifting required by a gear transmission. This flexibility was especially helpful for loader work, haymaking, and tasks requiring frequent speed adjustments. The 666 family offered practical horsepower for medium-sized farms and remains popular among enthusiasts interested in International Harvester’s distinctive Hydro technology.
