The International Harvester 1066 was produced from 1971 through 1976 and became one of the company's best-known tractors of the 1970s. Powered by a turbocharged diesel engine producing approximately 125 PTO horsepower, it was designed for demanding jobs such as plowing, tillage, and pulling heavy implements. The 1066 featured International Harvester's distinctive black stripe styling, an open or enclosed operator configuration depending on equipment, and a robust drivetrain suited to intensive fieldwork.
