The Fordson Super Major was introduced in 1960 as the final major development of Fordson's long-running E1A tractor family, produced at Ford's Dagenham facility in England. The Super Major was designed for general agricultural work, including plowing, cultivating, hauling, and operating a wide range of farm implements. It featured a four-cylinder diesel engine and improvements to the tractor's hydraulic and braking systems compared with earlier models.
