The Doe Triple-D tractors were created in Britain by Ernest Doe & Sons by coupling two Fordson-based tractors together. Their unusual layout provided four-wheel drive and much greater pulling ability than a single tractor. The later Doe 130 was rated at roughly 130 horsepower. Its twin-engine design made it a memorable solution to heavy tillage before modern articulated tractors became common.
