The Allis-Chalmers WC was introduced in 1933 and became one of the company's most successful early row-crop tractors. Designed to provide farmers with a versatile and affordable machine, the WC featured a narrow front axle that helped with maneuverability between crop rows. Early versions used steel wheels, making them well suited to the agricultural conditions and equipment of their era. The WC was used for plowing, cultivating, planting, and other general farm work. Its practical design and widespread popularity helped establish Allis-Chalmers as an important name in American agricultural machinery. Today, restored WC tractors are valued by antique tractor enthusiasts for their distinctive appearance and place in farm history.
