The Case IH 9250 was a high-horsepower articulated four-wheel-drive tractor designed for large-scale agricultural operations. Introduced in the Steiger-derived Case IH 9200 series, the 9250 was built to handle demanding fieldwork, including deep tillage and pulling wide implements across extensive acreage. The full-size tractor was powered by a Cummins diesel engine producing approximately 300 horsepower and featured an articulated chassis that helped it maneuver while maintaining traction across all four driven wheels. Dual tires increased the contact area with the ground and helped improve traction and weight distribution. The 9250 represents the era when powerful articulated tractors became essential equipment for large grain farms.
